YouTube
Upload videos and Shorts to your YouTube channel, reply to comments, and see its statistics.
Account: a YouTube channel you own. Tebar connects through Google's official login and never sees your password.
Connecting a channel
- In Tebar, open Connect account and choose YouTube.
- Sign in with the Google account that owns the channel, then pick the channel if you have more than one.
- Tick every permission asked for, then click Continue. Without the upload permission the channel cannot be used.
What you can post
| Part | Rules |
|---|---|
| Video | Exactly 1 video per post, MP4 or MOV up to 300 MB |
| Title | Required, up to 100 characters |
| Description | The post's text, up to 5,000 characters (no < or >) |
| Made for kids | Answered on every upload: YouTube requires it, and Tebar never guesses |
| Privacy | Public, Unlisted, or Private |
| AI or altered content | Turn on when the video looks real but was made or changed with AI |
| Thumbnail | Optional, a JPG or PNG photo. Regular videos only, not Shorts |
Vertical or square videos up to 3 minutes become Shorts automatically.
A custom thumbnail needs a channel verified by phone at youtube.com/verify (not the grey check mark next to a channel name). When YouTube refuses it, the video still goes out with its automatic thumbnail. A Short's thumbnail can only be changed in YouTube Studio.
Channels not verified by phone can only upload videos up to 15 minutes. Verify at youtube.com/verify.
Daily upload limit
YouTube limits uploads per day for each app, so the quota is shared by everyone on Tebar. To keep it fair, one Tebar account can upload up to 10 videos a day.
When the day's quota runs out, your video does not fail: the post waits and goes out by itself after the quota resets at midnight Pacific time. The Create post window tells you when the quota is nearly or fully used.
Comments and statistics
- Video comments arrive on the Comments page, refreshed every hour. You can reply to and hide them.
- Channel statistics (subscribers, views, minutes watched, likes, comments, shares) and per-video statistics are on the Statistics page. YouTube data usually lags 1 to 2 days.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect on the Accounts page. Tebar revokes its access to your channel and deletes the YouTube data it kept (comments, video titles, statistics). Published videos stay on YouTube.
You can also revoke Tebar's access at any time in your Google security settings.
