Limitations
What Tebar can't do yet or limits, so nothing catches you by surprise.
Photos from your device: use the upload card
In ChatGPT, photos you attach or paste in the chat, and images ChatGPT made, can be posted directly: just ask "post this image to Instagram". If an image does not come through (it happens in the mobile app or with images ChatGPT made), attach it to the chat again, or use the upload card, which also has a Pilih dari file ChatGPT (pick from ChatGPT files) button. ask the AI to upload a photo, for example "post a photo from my phone to Instagram". In claude.ai and Claude Desktop, Tebar shows an upload card inside the chat: pick the file in the card, wait until it is ready, then click Kirim ke chat (send to chat; the card is in Indonesian for now).
In AI agents that cannot show the card yet (Claude Code, for example), give a public URL of the file, or upload it first on the Media page of the dashboard and ask the AI to use the photo from the library.

Files: JPEG or PNG photos up to 8 MB, MP4 or MOV videos up to 300 MB (Free plan: videos up to 100 MB). Each platform's details are on the Threads, Instagram, Facebook Page, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Telegram, Discord, and Pinterest pages.
Posting limits
There are two kinds of limits: the platform's (they also count posts from other apps you use), and Tebar's, which keep your account from looking like spam or keep a shared quota fair.

- 24-hour limits always roll: they count the last 24 hours, not since midnight (except YouTube).
- A waiting post shows as Waiting in the dashboard with the reason and the time of the next attempt. Nothing to do on your side. Only after 3 days without going out does it count as failed.
- When TikTok holds a post back, you get an email, at most once a day per account. Turn it off in Settings (the failed post email setting).
- For AI agents and the API: sending many posts at once is safe. Tebar spaces them out, not the agent. The waiting state shows in
targets[].error_codeandtargets[].retry_after(see Errors).
Not available yet
- LinkedIn comments and statistics: LinkedIn does not grant that permission for personal profiles.
- LinkedIn Company Pages.
Threads: multi-part threads and replies need a new permission
Threads (multi-part posts), the who-can-reply setting (reply_control), and replying to and hiding Threads comments need the threads_manage_replies permission. Tebar has asked for it since October 24, 2026. Threads accounts connected before that date don't have it yet: click Reconnect next to that Threads account on the Accounts page. The account does not need to be disconnected first. Scheduled posts are not lost when reconnecting.
Without that permission, a post using a thread or reply_control is refused before it publishes with 400 option_permission_missing, so nothing is ever half-published. Replying to a comment returns 422 permission_missing.
TikTok videos are always public
Videos Tebar publishes to TikTok are always public. A private TikTok account can only post photos (with the privacy you choose) or send drafts. To post videos, turn off Private account in the TikTok app. The TikTok post link appears a few minutes after publishing, once TikTok has finished moderating it.
Statistics are not real-time
Statistics for new posts update every hour, older ones every 6 hours or once a day, and Meta and TikTok themselves can lag up to 48 hours.
Videos take time
Platforms process videos after they are sent, so the status can stay "Publishing" for a few minutes. Check again with get_post or in the dashboard.
Published posts
Tebar does not delete or edit posts that are already live on a platform. Do that directly in the platform's app.
