Save photos as Pins to Pinterest boards, with a title and a destination link.
Account: a Pinterest Business account. Business accounts are free, and a personal account can be switched at any time in the Pinterest app (Settings → Account management → Convert to a business account). Pinterest does not let Tebar use personal accounts.
Connecting an account
- In Tebar, open Connect account and choose Pinterest.
- Log in to Pinterest if asked, then click Give access.
- You return to Tebar, and the account shows on the Accounts page.
Tebar never sees your Pinterest password. Access is renewed automatically, so you don't need to reconnect from time to time.
What you can post
| Part | Rules |
|---|---|
| Photo | Exactly 1 photo per Pin, JPEG or PNG up to 8 MB |
| Description | The post's text, up to 800 characters |
| Title | Optional, up to 100 characters |
| Destination link | Optional, the page that opens when the Pin is clicked |
| Alt text | Taken from the photo's alt text in Tebar, if any |
Video Pins are not supported yet. Pinterest has no carousel for regular Pins, so one Tebar post becomes one Pin.
Choosing a board
Every Pin is saved to one board. Choose it in the Pinterest account tab of the Create post window. A board that does not exist yet can be made right there with Buat board (create board; a public board).
Blocked destination links
Pinterest may block destination links it considers spam, especially new domains or short links such as bit.ly. The post then fails with a message that the link was blocked. Remove or change the link and try again. To have your domain trusted, claim your website on Pinterest (Settings → Claimed accounts).
Daily limit
One Pinterest account can receive up to 50 Pins per 24 hours from Tebar.
Not available
Comments and Pin statistics are not available yet. Pins you make directly on Pinterest do not show in the Tebar calendar either.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect on the Accounts page. Tebar removes its access to your Pinterest account. Published Pins stay on Pinterest.
