Accounts

Connecting, reconnecting, and disconnecting social accounts, and the account limit per plan.

The Accounts menu (the gear icon next to the Accounts heading in the sidebar) shows every connected social account.

Connecting an account

Click Connect account and choose the platform. You are sent to that platform's official login; Tebar never sees your password. Each platform's account requirements are in Quick start.

An account on another phone or computer, or a client's

If the account is signed in on another device (Instagram only on your phone, say), or belongs to a client, pick Is the account signed in on another phone or computer? at the bottom of the Connect account window, then Create link. Open the link on that device, or send it to your client. Whoever opens it needs no Tebar account: they pick the platform and grant access, and the account shows up in your account list. A link works once, for 30 minutes, and needs a paid plan. Telegram cannot be connected with a link.

Grant every permission asked for. A permission that is not granted makes the related feature unavailable, such as replying to comments or reading statistics, until the account is reconnected.

Accounts in the sidebar

Each account has its own menu in the sidebar: click its name to open that account's Schedule, Comments, and Statistics. The number next to the name is how many posts it has scheduled. From 8 accounts on, a Search accounts box appears.

Needs reconnecting

Access from a platform can end, for example after you change your Instagram password, revoke Tebar's access in the TikTok app, or after 60 days for LinkedIn. The account is marked red with Needs reconnecting, and you get an email. Click Reconnect; scheduled posts are kept and publish once the account is active again.

Account limit per plan

The number of active accounts is limited by plan: Free 2, Starter 10, Basic 25, Pro 50. If your plan goes down and you have more accounts than the limit, the longest-connected accounts stay active and the rest are deactivated (still connected, not deleted). Deactivated accounts cannot post and are not synced. Click Activate to swap which account is active. Once the limit goes up again, they become active by themselves. See Plans & limits.

Disconnecting an account

Disconnect removes Tebar's access to the account (for TikTok, Tebar also disappears from the app list in TikTok). Scheduled posts for that account are canceled right away. Post history stays, and published posts stay on the platform.
