# Links (/en/link)

The **Link** menu makes `tbr.ink` short links that lead to your destination, then counts how often they are opened. Use them in your bio, captions, DMs, or on posters. Links are kept per [workspace](/en/profile).

## Plans [#plans]

| Plan        | Active links | Your own name (`tbr.ink/your-name`) |
| ----------- | ------------ | ----------------------------------- |
| **Free**    | none         | no                                  |
| **Starter** | 3            | no                                  |
| **Basic**   | 5            | no                                  |
| **Pro**     | 10           | yes                                 |

Deleted links no longer count, so their place frees up. When your plan ends, existing links keep working and their clicks are still counted, but you can't create or edit links until you subscribe again. See [Plans](/en/paket).

## Creating a link [#creating-a-link]

1. Open **Link**, then click **Create link**.
2. Fill in the **Destination link**, starting with `https://`.
3. On Pro you can fill in a **Link name**, such as `summer-sale` for `tbr.ink/summer-sale`. Leave it empty for a random code. The name can't be changed later, and the name of a deleted link can't be used again.
4. A **Title** helps you remember where the link is used, for example "Summer sale in Instagram bio".

The link is copied as soon as it is created. You can change its destination any time with **Edit**, and the new destination applies right away to the link wherever it was shared.

## Links that can't be made [#links-that-cant-be-made]

To keep `tbr.ink` trusted by platforms and readers, every destination is checked when a link is created or edited:

- links to other shorteners (such as bit.ly or s.id) and to local networks;
- online gambling sites, sites blocked by Indonesia's Komdigi, and sites Google flags as dangerous (scams, malware).

Anyone who opens a link can report it with **Laporkan penyalahgunaan** (Report abuse). A link reported by several people is blocked until the Tebar team reviews it. Existing links are also rechecked every day, and those that break the rules are blocked.

## Seeing the clicks [#seeing-the-clicks]

Click a link in the list to see its details:

- **Clicks**: all clicks since it was made. One person counts once an hour, so refreshing again and again doesn't inflate the number.
- **Unique visitors**: different people, counted per day.
- **Bots filtered**: link previews from chat apps and social networks. Not counted as clicks.
- **Clicks per day**, **Source** (Instagram, WhatsApp, direct, and more), **Country**, **City**, and **Device**, for the last 7, 30, or 90 days.

The numbers update every minute.

## QR code [#qr-code]

Every link has a **QR code** you can download as PNG or SVG, for posters, packaging, or flyers. QR scans count as clicks too.

## Turning off and deleting [#turning-off-and-deleting]

- **Turn the link off** stops it for now. People who open it see a "this link is not active" page. Turn it on again any time.
- **Delete** stops the link for good and frees its place.

## Links in DM automations [#links-in-dm-automations]

Link buttons in [automations](/en/automations) can go through `tbr.ink`, with a link per person, so you can see who opens them. These links are made automatically, are not in the Link menu, and don't count toward your plan's links. See [Counting link button clicks](/en/automations#counting-link-button-clicks).

<Callout>
  Developers can create and read links through the `/v1/links` REST API. See the [API
  Reference](/en/reference).
