# Ideas (/en/ide)

The **Ideas** menu is a board for writing down content ideas before they become posts. Each idea is a card with text and, if needed, photos or videos from the [Media](/en/media) library. Each [workspace](/en/profile) has its own board.

## Columns [#columns]

A new board starts with three columns: **Ideas**, **In progress**, and **Ready** (named in the language of your account). The board reads from left to right, so move cards to the right as they progress.

- Add a column with **+ Column** (up to 20).
- The **…** menu on a column: rename, move left or right, or delete. A column that still holds ideas asks for a column to move them to, and the last column cannot be deleted.

## Adding and moving ideas [#adding-and-moving-ideas]

- Click **Add idea**, or **+** on a specific column. New ideas go to the top of the column.
- On a computer, drag a card to another position or column. On a phone, choose a column with the tabs at the top, then move cards with the **…** menu (Up, Down, Move to).
- Click a card to edit its text and media, or to delete it. A board can hold up to 1,000 ideas.

## Turning an idea into a post [#turning-an-idea-into-a-post]

Ideas in the **rightmost** column (**Ready** by default) count as ready to post. Their cards get a **Turn into a post** button, which opens the [Create post](/en/buat-post) window with the idea's text and media.

- The idea stays on the board after it is posted, marked **Used in posts: N**. One idea can be posted several times, for example to another platform on a different day.
- Ideas in other columns can only be saved. Move them to the rightmost column when they are ready.
- Deleting an idea does not delete the posts made from it.

## Through AI [#through-ai]

When Claude or ChatGPT is connected to Tebar ([how](/en/claude)), you can use the ideas board from the chat, for example:

- "Save an idea: tips for caring for leather shoes"
- "What ideas are in the Ready column?"
- "Turn the shoe care idea into an Instagram caption, then move it to Ready"
- "Post the shoe care idea to Threads tomorrow at 7 PM"

AI can add, edit, move, and post ideas. Deleting ideas and managing columns can only be done in the dashboard.

## Media in ideas [#media-in-ideas]

Files used by an idea are not removed automatically after 30 days (see [Media](/en/media)). If you delete such a file from the library yourself, it is detached from the idea, and the idea's text stays.
